Data Deletion Instructions

You can have Venue Online Services (VOS) delete the data it holds about you, including anything that came from Facebook or Instagram, in any of the three ways below.

1. Disconnect Facebook and Instagram in VOS (venues)

  1. Sign in to your VOS dashboard.
  2. Go to Settings → Meta connection.
  3. Click Disconnect.

This immediately deletes the Facebook and Instagram access tokens, Page ID, Page name, Instagram account ID and username that VOS stored. VOS can no longer post for you. Posts already published stay on Facebook and Instagram; delete those there if you want them gone.

2. Remove VOS from your Facebook account

  1. On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
  2. Find VOS Dashboard Scheduler and click Remove.

This stops VOS's access straight away. To have VOS also delete what it already stored, use option 1 or 3.

3. Email us

Email vossupport@ontoitmedia with the subject Data deletion request and tell us:

  • your name and the email address you use with VOS, or your Facebook Page or Instagram account name;
  • the venue, if you are asking on a venue's behalf;
  • what you want deleted: everything, or only your Facebook and Instagram data.

We will confirm your request within 10 business days and complete it within 30 days. We will delete your account details, the Facebook and Instagram tokens and account details, and the post logs connected to you, and then email you to confirm. We may keep a record that the request was made, and anything the law requires us to keep.

What we cannot delete for you

Posts already published on Facebook or Instagram live on those services. Delete them from the post itself, or ask the venue that published them. Content a venue published about an event, such as an artist's name or photo on its website, can be removed by that venue or by us on request.
